Welcome to Your Asset Management Data Hub
This application serves as a central hub for managing and analyzing your industrial control system assets. Begin by uploading the necessary data files below, then use the Application Tools to visualize rack layouts, generate bills of materials, and assess the lifecycle status of your equipment.
Use the Application Tools below to analyze the controllers loaded from ACE Suite Online.
Your PLC files stay in this browser. Not stored in the cloud. No server copy. Your plant IP does not sit on ACE Systems’ site.
Data Management
ClarOTy Asset Report Upload
Upload the full asset report CSV from Claroty. This data is required for some tools.
PLC Files Upload
Upload Rockwell (.L5X, .SLC), Schneider hardware (.XHW), Schneider programs (.XBD) and/or Schneider Unity Control Expert (.ZEF, .XEF) files together — they're sorted automatically by type and fed to the right tools (Unity projects open in the Unity Code Reader; .XHW feeds the Asset Map / BOM / I/O tools).
Lifecycle Data Upload
Upload the lifecycle CSV file. Used for color-coding assets in other tools.
On the Server edition this updates the shared master copy for everyone
(requires Engineer or Administrator). Editing AppRoot\LifeCycle.csv on disk
does not refresh an existing database — use this upload (or Pattern Suite → Restore).
FD Pattern Upload
Upload your FD pattern file(s) — Rockwell patterns.xml and/or Schneider schneider_patterns.xml, or a single combined file containing both. Each is detected and routed automatically. Optional — only needed for the FD tools.
Schneider Tags Upload
Optional Unity tag .TXT export. When loaded, comments and initial values (analog scaling, valve times, message numbers) are shown on the Schneider Device Register, I/O Card Utilization, and FD Generator. Physical I/O mapping still comes from .ZEF/.XEF — the TXT is not required.
Loaded PLC Files
Files extracted from your uploads — Rockwell .L5X controllers, Schneider .XBD programs, and Schneider .ZEF/.XEF Control Expert projects. Updates after each Process.

Application Tools
Select a tool to begin analyzing your uploaded asset data.
One-click Handover Pack for Rockwell and Schneider. Pick controller(s), tick the reports (Hardware BOM, Asset Map, I/O utilisation, plus Rockwell-only CPU / Messaging), and build one merged PDF per processor — honouring the curation you've done in each tool. Bundles to a ZIP for multiple controllers.
PCS Asset Map & InventoryVisually explore the hardware configuration of your PLCs — Rockwell .L5X and Schneider .XHW / Unity chassis — including rack layouts and module details.
PCS BOM ViewerView the Bill of Materials, firmware, and network configurations extracted from Rockwell and Schneider project files.
PCS I/O Card UtilizationPer-card wiring map showing used vs spare channels for every DI/DO/AI/AO module across all loaded PLCs (Rockwell and Schneider). Driven by the same tag-to-I/O detection as the PCS Tag Search — reflects real wiring, not comment counts.
Drop two versions of an .L5X (older vs newer) and see what changed: hardware add/remove/swap, I/O channel moves by tag, ladder/ST code differences, and side-by-side asset maps. Unity compare coming next.
PCS CPU ReportFleet-wide controller resource view — CPU utilisation, memory usage, and connection counts from the L_CPU AOI online snapshot, alongside static processor / task / code-size data. One row per PLC, expandable for full detail.
PCS Fleet HealthOne dashboard across every controller: a risk register (encryption, missing snapshots, near-limit connection / CPU / memory budgets), obsolescence matched to the Lifecycle CSV, and spare-capacity headroom. Reads the same fleet dataset as the CPU Report — nothing fabricated.
PCS MessagingMap controller-to-controller messaging: Produced/Consumed tag links and MSG message blocks across all loaded L5X files.
L5X Tag ParserExplore Tags, UDTs and AOIs from your uploaded .L5X files. Filter, view usage counts, and export to CSV/Excel.
PCS Tag SearchSearch every tag by name or description across all loaded PLCs. Unpacks UDT/AOI sub-tags and surfaces EU scaling and I/O address (Rack/Slot/Channel) where detected.
PCS UDT/AOI ReportPer-controller UDT and Add-On Instruction inventory (with usage counts, revisions, last-edited dates) plus S88 Version Compare — diff every site against a master template. Exports the same styled workbook as before.
Ladder Logic ViewerRead RLL routines as visual ladder diagrams rendered straight from your .L5X — contacts, coils, branches and instruction blocks, with tag descriptions. Loads the selected controller from your uploaded project, or drop an ad-hoc file.
FD GeneratorConvert ladder logic into readable Functional Descriptions using your patterns.xml. Export to Excel or PDF.
PCS Raw Data ViewerA dedicated viewer for analyzing the raw PCS data.(Text Format)
Read Schneider Control Expert / Unity projects from a .zef archive (or .xef/.xml export): sections, variables, I/O and FBD logic with wire routing and documentation tooltips. Drop a file to explore.
Build Functional Descriptions from Control Expert .XBD exports + tag .TXT using schneider_patterns.xml. Export to Excel or PDF.
Device RegisterEquipment register from a .zef/.xef/.xbd project: every valve, motor, instrument, digital I/O, totaliser and alarm — with descriptions and the physical rack·slot·channel each signal lands on. Export to CSV / Excel / PDF.
Trial and validate the regex patterns used by the FD Generator before processing your logic.
Lifecycle ViewerView and search the product lifecycle data. This data is used to color-code assets in the main visualizer.
Comparison & Lifecycle ReportsGenerate inventory and firmware comparison reports and view the overall system lifecycle risk dashboard.
Help & DocumentationFind instructions, frequently asked questions, and support information for using the ACE Asset Tools.
Visualize PLC rack layouts and view a detailed Bill of Materials and Lifecycle Status. Export diagrams and inventory lists to PDF.
Architecture ComparisonCompare ClarOTy asset architectures side-by-side with PCS project file data.
ClarOTy View .csv FileView the raw, filterable data from your uploaded Asset Report. Highlighted items from the map will show here.
