ACE Codex — analyse and document PLC exports
ACE Codex is the ACE Systems product for PLC engineering documentation. Formerly ACE Suite. Online runs in the browser; on-prem is the plant edition.
Online pay per file
https://online.acesystems.co.nz/ — drop an L5X or ZEF, get a quote, pay, then use the tools for 30 days in that browser. NZ$19 per file, GST inclusive. Packs of 5 and 20 if that is cheaper.
Exports stay in IndexedDB. ACE Systems does not keep a plant-file copy on the server. Quote and checkout still send file names and counts so the session can be priced.
On-prem plant edition
A separate ACE Codex install for the plant. Same analysis tools, licensed as a seat — not the pay-per-file site.
Honest limits
Functional Descriptions and Grafcet are generated from the PLC logic as accurately as ACE can. Treat them as a base — you may need to edit them to match the code.
Virtual HMI is a trainer for the ACE demo pair. It is not a Logix emulator.
