Ladder logic to GRAFCET
Grafcet is built from the PLC logic ACE already parsed for the Functional Description — not a separate upload. Use it for sequence documentation on Rockwell L5X routines the engine can represent.
Functional Description and GRAFCET
Keep the text FD and the Grafcet drawing together. Annex and ISA-88 unit overviews may show as empty Grafcet with a reason, rather than a fake chart.
What Grafcet is not
It is not a certified SFC export from Studio 5000. Treat Grafcet as a generated base. Edit it if the drawing does not match the code.
Note. ACE has worked to represent the PLC code as accurately as possible. Use generated Functional Descriptions and Grafcet as a base — you may need to edit them so they truly match the code.
